Group Blog: Final Project

 For this project a few changes were made to the group from last time. Firstly, Ayannah is still a part of our group. When making the music video she worked very hard. Ayannah helped with several parts of the music video like acting, editing, and writing. Our group had several last minute issues with filming and Ayannah stepped up and became the only actor for our video. Her adaptability was very useful and integral in making the music video. Second, Nathaly is also still in the group. While there were some slight issues with scheduling conflicts, Nathaly still was very helpful. In the early stages of the music video her and I worked together to make the basic idea for what we would be making. Additionally, Nathaly created the storyboard as no one else was a capable artist in our group. Even though she had several conflicts in scheduling, Nathaly still showed up and did her best to be useful to the group. Now, the first big change to the group is Stanley is no longer working with us. While working through the music video many members of the group had issue with the amount of effort put in to the project. When discussing the music video he would mostly sit on his phone and not add to the conversation. This created a higher burden on the rest of the group to pick up the slack. On top of this, the day we had planned to film was agreed on by everyone one week in advance. Despite the week of time to plan, Stanley, without warning, did not show up to help filming. This caused our group to have to make several last minute changes and could have potentially ruined the video. While he himself is a great person and fun to be around, he wasn't a good fit. To replace him we added my friend, Gabriel, to the group. I've worked with him several times before and he has proved to be a reliable member.
